There is seriously nothing as beautiful as a big stack of books. =) Congrats on such a great haul!
Thanks - I think I went a little overboard.
I've just read the birth house and enjoyed it :0)
It's next on my list!
Uh oh--$1 sale--I'm in trouble! 25 books is a great load--especially on a budget!!
oooh i read The Boy From the Basement. it was a very quick read, but then again it was good. i wouldn't consider it one of my favorites, but i would suggest someone read it.
I just finished The Boy From the Basement. It reminded me of a book I read years ago - A Child Called It. Both were heartbreaking stories, but they needed to be told.
I hope to post my review over the weekend.
most students in all my classes have read A Child Called It, and all loved it. I've never read it before, and wasn't really planning to. But, I think i've heard twice now that it's similar to Boy from the Basement so i just might have to read it.
